A rather still closed King Protea looking odd in this shape.I always think of proteas as flowering pine cones but with abundant colour, fur and velvety fluff, always keeping their rigidity and stiffness.
Classical complimentary contrast of red and green on the obvious black and white. Always amazing to consider is the fact that the mixture of red and green results in a "grey tone" as well as the mixture of black and white turns into grey. Copyright Pera Schillings All rights reserved
From the "At my African Table" series, "7 Bananas" is the first one .
Salvaged from an old bus stop sign post this by now antique metal frame is in truly African fashion with lots of stories to tell. The pool behind it gives it a real holiday feel.....I love it! Copyright Pera Schillings All rights reserved
