7 Bananas

oil on canvas

From the "At my African Table" series, "7 Bananas" is the first one .

Salvaged from an old bus stop sign post this by now antique metal frame is in truly African fashion with lots of stories to tell. The pool behind it gives it a real holiday feel.....I love it!

Soon to be, autumn in the Winelands, beautiful weather with sunny days and cooler nights and a with a bit of luck a shower in between.

The first fresh wine to be tasted  and culture in all its variations to be enjoyed.

In this painting for me shapes, form and colour.
